Volunteer Registration

General Info

Thank you for considering volunteering for the Steubenville Mid-America Conferences in Springfield, MO. We would be unable to coordinate this event without the help of our great volunteers!

The conference weekends are:

Week 1: July 12-14 and Week 2: July 19-21, 2019

Our staff is extremely blessed to have so many wonderful Catholic adults step up to volunteer. As such, we often have an abundance of people wanting to help, and unfortunately we are restricted to a very specific number for volunteers.

We are asking everyone, the veteran volunteers as well as those who have never served before, to fill out this quick form to help us track the number of people, along with their current information, who are willing to donate their time. Filling out this form does not guarantee a spot as a volunteer but it makes us aware of your interest.

After compiling the interest forms we will contact those needed to volunteer by May 1st.

**Please keep in mind that volunteering at Steubenville can be physically demanding. Work will include a lot of walking and being on your feet for long periods of time**

There are many different areas of opportunity to volunteer including Ushering, Prayer Ministry, Traffic (Safety & Security), Bookstore, Production, First Aid, and Hospitality. Volunteers for the conference are responsible for their travel to Springfield, MO. Once there, all food and lodging is provided.

Safe Environment Requirements

IMPORTANT: All Steubenville Conference volunteers must be in compliance with Archdiocesan Safe Environment policies.

This means:

  • You need to have attended a Protecting God’s Children workshop. (A list of upcoming workshops can be found HERE on the Archdiocesan website).
  • You must fill out and return the Code of Ethical Conduct and Background Check forms to the OYM. If you have previously volunteered for and submitted these forms to the OYM, you do not have to resubmit them.

Important Dates & Times

  • The arrival time varies depending what volunteer team you are on but in general we like everyone to be in Springfield, MO by 10AM on Friday morning of the conference. We begin with Mass for all volunteers.
  • A Volunteer Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 26th starting with Adoration at 6:30pm.

Thank you for your willingness to serve! If you have any additional questions, please contact:

Steubenville Volunteer Coordinator

All Positions Are Filled!

*We have reached our limit on volunteer registrations! You can still register, but you will be placed on a waitlist. If you have registered and are waiting for a spot, we will contact you if one becomes available. Thank you for your interest. This event would not be possible without our amazing team of volunteers!
